1. Scope and who we are
This policy explains how AirlyGo Travel collects, uses, shares, stores and protects personal information when you use our website, WhatsApp support, email services, booking forms, payment links, travel news features or any current or future Travel Service.
“Travel Services” includes flight enquiries and bookings, hotel or accommodation bookings, travel insurance, supporting services, manual quotations, supplier-connected services and services introduced later. AirlyGo’s role may differ by service and will be explained during the booking process.
2. Information we collect
We may collect identity and contact details such as your name, title, date of birth, nationality, address, email address, telephone number and WhatsApp number. For a booking, we may also need passenger or guest names, passport details, visa-related information, loyalty numbers, room preferences, accessibility needs, emergency contacts and other details required by the relevant supplier.
We collect communications you send to us, including quotation requests, support messages, complaints, cancellation instructions and feedback. Our systems may also record technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, approximate location, cookie identifiers and website activity.
3. Booking and traveller information
Flights
Airlines and ticketing providers may require passport names, date of birth, gender where required by the carrier, route details, baggage selections, meal or assistance requests and frequent-flyer information. Incorrect passenger information can lead to denied boarding or paid corrections.
Hotels and accommodation
Accommodation suppliers may require lead-guest details, names of additional guests, ages of children, arrival time, special requests and information needed for local registration or tax requirements.
Travel insurance
Insurance providers may require age, destination, travel dates, residency, declared medical or risk information and details of insured travellers. Sensitive information is collected only where necessary for the requested product and handled according to applicable law and the insurer’s own privacy notice.
4. Payment information and security
Payments may be processed by PayHere or another approved payment provider. AirlyGo does not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers, CVV security codes or online-banking passwords. Payment providers may return limited information such as transaction reference, payment status, card brand and masked card digits so that we can reconcile your payment and support refunds.
Do not send full card details through WhatsApp, email or ordinary web forms. AirlyGo staff will not ask you to disclose a CVV, one-time password or banking password.
5. How we use information
- Prepare quotations and create, confirm, change or cancel Travel Bookings.
- Verify payments, prevent duplicate processing and issue vouchers or confirmations.
- Communicate schedule changes, supplier messages, payment status, travel alerts and service updates.
- Provide support, resolve disputes, process refunds and maintain financial records.
- Detect fraud, abuse, unauthorised access and security incidents.
- Improve our website, products, customer service and marketing, where permitted.
- Meet legal, tax, accounting, regulatory and law-enforcement obligations.
8. WhatsApp, email and marketing
When you contact us through WhatsApp, Meta and telecommunications providers may process message metadata under their own terms. We use the channel to answer enquiries, send quotations and provide booking support. Email may be used for confirmations, vouchers, receipts, policy notices and service messages.
Promotional messages are sent only where permitted. You may opt out of marketing, but we may still send necessary booking or security communications.
9. Storage, retention and protection
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for bookings, support, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, legal claims and regulatory obligations. Retention periods vary by record type and supplier requirement.
We use access controls, encryption where appropriate, secure payment providers, backups, monitoring and staff procedures. No online system is completely risk-free, so we cannot promise absolute security.
10. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or delete information, object to certain processing, withdraw marketing consent or request a copy of information we hold. Some records cannot be deleted immediately where retention is required for legal, financial, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes.
Requests should include enough information for us to verify your identity and locate the relevant booking. We will not disclose traveller data to an unverified person.
11. Children and group bookings
A parent, guardian or authorised organiser must provide information for children and confirm that they have authority to do so. A person making a group booking is responsible for informing all travellers about this policy and obtaining any required permissions.
12. Policy changes and contact
We may update this policy when our services, suppliers, technology or legal obligations change. The version and effective date at the top identify the current text. Material changes may also be highlighted on our website.
Privacy enquiries may be sent to [email protected] or through WhatsApp at +94 76 740 7997.
